Our Origin Story

A note from Tim, David, & Adrian:

One afternoon, we were sitting in the back office doing what we’d done for years: searching for continuing education courses. The best options all involved flying around the country to retake the same high-quality classes… Again.

Something wasn’t right.

We weren’t lacking knowledge or credentials. We weren’t short on experience or success stories.

We were searching for how to leap to the next level. The question we were typing to answer was how to achieve the high level of success that we had with our most dear patients.

Then it hit us —how to truly help people was beyond the clinical findings.

The lessons we were looking for weren’t in another manual. They were sitting right in front of us—embedded in our patients’ stories, patterns, setbacks, and breakthroughs. We had been doing it for years.

We realized the problem wasn’t effort—it was time.

Time to treat the person as a whole. First by what we see and measure. Then by getting to know the person—how they want to move again, what matters most to them, and what “better” actually looks like in their life. That level of care can’t be rushed. It has to be built.

We have long standing patients that we deeply understand and the results have changed their lives. We want all our patients to experience life changing results. However, the standard model made these relationships difficult to foster.

So we changed the model.

Instead of cramming twelve patients into a day, we chose to work with five. Longer sessions. Fewer distractions. Time to think deeply about each case between visits. Time to connect the dots. Time to actually listen.

That decision became the foundation of Marin Peak Physiotherapy.

Here, we pair highly experienced physical therapists with motivated patients who are ready to understand their bodies and not just quiet the symptoms.

We slow things down, paint a complete picture, and follow the plan of care all the way through, not stopping when things are “good enough,” but when life feels fully open again.

Because you don’t need to find the right trick for your injury, you need a playbook written for your body.
